LAPD Special Events

The Hollywood Area Special Events Coordinator is responsible for obtaining Police personnel for organized 1st Amendment marches as well as numerous smaller events throughout the Hollywood area where Police personnel might be needed or expected. This includes pre-planned events such as the Star Ceremonies and large events for the film industry. Major, unscheduled emergency events that occur within the Hollywood area are also handled by this office with a coordinated effort from on-dury Police personnel.
