The Hollywood Community Police Advisory Board (C-PAB) was created in 1994 to advise and inform the Los Angeles Police Department Area Commanding Officers of quality of life problems and concerns of the community.

More than an advisory board, Hollywood C-PAB is a problem-solving group predicated on community government philosophy. C-PAB has become a conduit for the community in addressing their issues.

Members of C-PAB represent the diversity of the community, including residents, businesses, social services, religious organizations and a multitude of agencies, departments, neighborhood councils and City Council representatives.

PARTICIPATING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES INCLUDE:

  • Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
  • Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD)
  • Office of the Mayor
  • City Council Representatives for Councilmember Tom LaBonge CD4, Councilmember Eric Garcetti CD13, and Councilmember Jack Weiss CD5
  • City Attorney's Office, Neighborhood Prosecutor
  • Los Angeles School Police
  • Los Angeles Department of Transportation (DOT)
  • Hollywood Entertainment District (BID)
  • Hollywood Media District (BID)

  • Hollywood Tow, Official Police Garage
  • Other government agencies participate on an as needed basis.
A committee system has been set up to address specific concerns of the homeless, youth, nightclubs, and traffic in the community.

The Hollywood Community Police Advisory Board is co-chaired by Captain Beatrice Girmala and Gary Minzer.
